A useful new High Def informational site?
A joint effort between Apple and Sony (strange comination!) has resulted in a web site, The HDTV Tuner, dedicated to helping clear up confusion about HD, HDV and so on. Here's their site header info:
Like all new technologies, HDTV is immersed in misinformation and complicated jargon. The aim of The HDTV Tuner is to cut through the noise and bring you the most accurate, up to date and easy to digest information on the most exciting development in television since the introduction of color. Please keep in mind this is a sponsored site with both Sony and Apple pushing their products and agendas! Still, good information can be gleaned.
