Some Projects:

Made with Processing

Interaction of Color 1 A homage to Josef Albers, allows you to adjust the color blocks that appear on the cover of his classic book, Interaction of Color, my first attempt to take something I developed in Processing and put it on the web using Processing.js. It involved a slight tweak to the code, but it was relativiely painless to get working. Note: Processing.js runs in Firefox, Safari, Opera and Chrome, at this time it does not run in Internet Explorer.

Media History Timeline

New Media History Timeline : a very broken but evolving work in progress timeline of new media history. I've completed a back-end database with an editing interface and the next step is to complete a Processing-based visualization. Right now you can navigate left and right with the arrow keys (and use up and down keys to jump forward and back by a larger increment). Clicking on an entry provides more information (text formatting and images are mising from these panels). Click on the info panel to hid it. Requires you to click on the timeline for arrow key navigation to work. It's got a long way to go, very rough at this time.

Color Tilt

Color Tilt : my first project using the Arduino, exploring the use of an accelerometer and 8x8 RGB LED matrix (Rainbowduino from Seed Studio)

Made with Processing

Simple Clock : my first project using Processing, use of the trig and map() functions to draw an analog clock.

Made with Processing

Simple Clock v3: This version adds a digital display and uses the Ess library to play tick and tock sounds and thus also introduces the need to sign the applet. Fun!

Made with Processing

Swimming Icons 1f: This is the first working version of an evolving project. Images are fetched from Flickr. Future versions will allow for more interaction, right now it provides a flow of "interesting" images tagged with one of "imac, iphone, ipad" (not working at this time, code is being revised)

More to come...
